# Claiming Received Funds

When someone sends you funds privately, they arrive as notes in your encrypted stash. Claiming turns them into spendable encrypted balance.

### Where to find them

Open the **Your Encrypted Stash** section. Any funds sent to you privately appear here as notes, each showing the amount received. A badge shows how many are waiting.

### Steps

1. **Open your stash.** Switch to the encrypted stash view.
2. **Review your notes.** Each note shows an amount received privately.
3. **Claim.** Either:
   * Click **Claim** on an individual note, or
   * Click **Claim All** to sweep everything at once.
4. **Approve** in your wallet.
5. **Done.** The claimed funds fold into your spendable encrypted balance.

### What's happening

Claiming finalizes received notes into your encrypted balance. Until claimed, funds sit as separate private notes — part of what keeps the transfer unlinkable. Once claimed, they're ordinary encrypted balance you can send, swap, or unshield.

### Good to know

* Claiming needs a small amount of SOL in your wallet to cover the network fee. If you don't have enough, the app will tell you to add a little SOL and try again.
* Your stash checks the blockchain to show only notes that are genuinely still unclaimed, and updates after you claim.
